Dell is hiring Inside Sales Representatives who have strong organizational, planning, and communication skills with a track record of building successful customer relationships in a transactional and relationship environment. An Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling Dell products and services (via telephone, web, or email) to specified customer segments and ensuring a positive customer experience. 

This role is an exciting and robust entry point into Dell as it gives exposure to a leading global technology company. You will witness first-hand how marketing and merchandising impact growth and increased sales revenue. *We are hiring Spring 2015 undergraduates as well as those who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree within the last 6 months. 

Role Responsibilities: 
• Learn a broad range of Dell technology, products, and services and is able to identify how these products and services align to customer needs. 
• Able to explain technical, industry, and market facts to position Dell as a competitive solution. 
• Cooperates and collaborates with colleagues, cross-functionally, to support the sales process. 
• Follows up with occasional outbound calls. 
• Normally receives no instruction on routine work and receives general instructions for new sales activities. 
• Regularly adjusts to multiple demands and shifting priorities. 
• Number of Products/Services Sold: Typically focused on one or two LOBs and attached warranties. 

All Sales Professional have a monthly sales quota that they are responsible for. Based on meeting Sales goals, Sales Representatives receive commission and are eligible to participate in incentive based sales contests. The Inside Sales Representatives will report to a Team Manager and will have coaches to provide guidance on successfully attaining monthly sales goals. 
Sales specific training will be provided to all Dell sales new hires. Topics for training will include: product knowledge, sales skills, tool usage instructions, etc. Follow-up training is also given on an ongoing/as needed basis. 

Requirements: 
• 1+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills 
• Ability to build and maintain successful customer relationships 
• Proactive 
• Works effectively in a team environment
