Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking undergrad or graduate level students actively pursuing a degree to join our 2016 summer internship program. This twelve-week program will expose interns to the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources team. The HR team is dedicated to attracting, engaging, and rewarding employees to support and deliver the best possible investment experience to our clients. Interns will have the opportunity to lead challenging HR-related projects, as well as learn how Dimensional takes principles developed by academic research and applies them to the real world of investing.  


This position is best suited for candidates who are passionate about HR and are excited to learn about Dimensional’s business. HR interns will gain exposure to a variety of HR functions, including Recruiting, Talent Development, HR Operations (e.g., HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll) and HR Business Partners (e.g., HR generalists, employee relations, and relocation/immigration). 


•Minimum GPA of 3.2; 3.5 or higher preferred 
•Progress toward a degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Industrial Psychology, Business, or equivalent field of study (accepting sophmore and junior applications) 
•Interest in financial markets and/or the financial services industry 
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
•Detail-oriented, organized, highly motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment 
•Strong computer skills (Excel and PowerPoint) with the ability to learn programs as needed 
•Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
