Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking undergrad or graduate level students actively pursuing a degree to join our 2016 summer internship program. This twelve-week program will expose interns to the day-to-day activities of the Clients Services team within the Institutional group. The Client Services team is responsible for supporting current clients by providing performance and characteristics reports, fulfilling ad hoc requests, field questions related to clients’ exposure, performance, and creating presentations. 


This position is best suited for candidates who are passionate about building and fostering relationships, understanding systems and reporting, and are excited to learn about Dimensional’s Institutional business. The internship will provide the opportunity to learn how Dimensional takes principles developed by academic research and applies them to the real world of investing.  


•Minimum GPA of 3.2; 3.5 or higher preferred 
•Currently enrolled in school as a junior going into senior year 
•Interest in financial markets 
•Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytic skills 
•Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills 
•Detail-oriented, organized, highly motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment 
•Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines 
•Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) with the ability to learn programs as needed 
•A personal alignment, understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy and business strategy. 
•Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
