Emergo Group, Inc. (‘Emergo’) is a consulting firm for medical device companies who are interested in marketing their products worldwide. Our main focus is helping companies comply with the local regulatory requirements in all of the major global markets, in addition to providing a variety of other services. Emergo has offices in 25+ countries, including Canada, Brazil, Mexico, India, Europe, Korea, and Japan. Our global headquarters is based in Austin, Texas. 
We are currently seeking a Business Development Assistant in our Austin office to support our International sales team. In this position, candidates can build a solid foundation to help them grow professionally within the company, while gaining a global experience. 

Job Overview: 
The International BD Assistant is responsible for supporting various global sales team members. Responsibilities include managing device classification requests from the local and international sales team, preparing proposals and agreements, addressing service related questions, coordinating agendas and meetings for international visitors, taking meeting minutes, and assisting with follow-up activities. 

A successful Assistant should be detail oriented, well-organized, able to multi-task and prioritize their responsibilities, take initiative, and become familiar with the regulations for medical devices in specific markets. 
Specific activities could include, but are not limited to: 
• Assist international BD team to monitor prospective clients in SalesForce 
• Prepare proposals and draft agreements 
• Help address regulatory and service related questions from the local and international sales team in order to provide accurate information to potential clients 
• Help track sales activities against targets 


We are seeking candidates who can show they possess the following qualifications: 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Well-organized and disciplined 
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures, processes, and instructions 
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple assigned tasks at any given time 
• A quick learner – and motivated to excel in this position 
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint 
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer 
• International experience a plus
