Emergo Group, Inc. (‘Emergo’) is a consulting firm for medical device companies who are interested in marketing their products worldwide. Our main focus is helping companies comply with the local regulatory requirements in all of the major global markets, in addition to providing a variety of other services.

Emergo currently has offices in 25 countries, including The Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, the UK, France, Germany, Russia, India, Korea, Japan and China. Our global headquarters is based in Austin, Texas.

We are currently seeking an International Operations Coordinator in our Austin office to support our Business Development (BD) Operations (Ops) team. In this position, candidates can build a solid foundation to help them grow professionally within the company, while gaining a valuable global experience.

JOB OVERVIEW

The International Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the BD Ops team with research, content development, and document control activities. Responsibilities include helping to draft regulatory updates and material used by Emergo’s local and global offices, as well as managing our online knowledge database - SharePoint, to ensure the information is reviewed on schedule.

The International Ops Coordinator will also be the point person between BD Ops and the Quality Department. S/he will coordinate proposal and agreement updates, and will be the final reviewer for formatting and grammar of our external sales material, so strong writing and grammar skills, as well as attention to detail, are a must.

Additionally, a successful Coordinator should be organized, able to multi-task and prioritize, take initiative, and become familiar with the regulations for medical devices in specific markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help to develop and maintain Emergo’s information assets (i.e. proposals, agreements, and other sales material) using several software platforms, primarily SharePoint
• Help draft regulatory updates and FAQ responses
• Assist with developing tools for the Project Management Team, including regulatory checklists, project guides for new clients, and more
• Control and manage the review schedule for internal and external documentation, to ensure the BD/Ops team stays on track of content reviews
• Documentation control support, i.e., ensuring formatting aligns across all documentation, reviewing for spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as coordinating reviews and updates with the Quality Department

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking candidates who can show they possess the following qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – specifically, able to write clearly and concisely with accurate spelling, punctuation, and grammar
• An eye for detail
• Well-organized and disciplined
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple assigned tasks at any given time
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced business environment, without the need for close supervision
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
• Minimum of two years professional experience required
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint a plus
• Experience in Marketing/Graphic Design a plus

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

• Annual salary range starting at $40K but is ultimately commensurate with qualifications and could be assessed based upon relevant experience
• Group Health Insurance
• Four weeks annual paid vacation
• Contribution to 401(k) retirement plan
• Disability Insurance
• A dynamic, international work environment, and positive culture!
