Explore Horizons; where YOU can:

1.Make a Difference to a Child’s Education Whilst Learning Real Business Skills!

At Explore Horizons we’re pretty ambitious, and we’d like to think we’re dynamic too, but whatever we are, we’re certainly dedicated to making a difference to children’s’ education. We help children from Kindergarten through to 8th grade with their math, reading and writing, and by doing so we aim to help each and every single child that spends time with us improve their understanding of those subjects, their confidence in school and their overall enjoyment of learning.

We started working with children in 2001 in the UK, and since then we’ve helped over 150,000 children to thrive academically. Having been very successful in the UK, we’re now turning our attentions to Texas and launching our own unique style of tutoring center in the Dallas and Fort Worth area where you could Join Explore as an Assistant Director. You could be a part of one of our full-time management teams learning how to run one of our tutoring centers and developing your teaching, leadership, management and marketing skills.

2. Experience Fantastic Training and Development!

We look for bright College graduates who have a burning passion for what we do; we want you to be passionate about making a difference to our members and their lives, as well as making our centers a successful business so that we can continue to grow here in the United States. We’ll offer you the opportunity to take a very hands-on approach to management from day one, and we won’t shy away from giving you a high level of responsibility either, but in return you’ll receive a lot of support and training so that you can thrive and make progress with your career goals. In fact you’ll be pleased to hear that your professional development is always front and center in our minds (Just like the kids learning will be front and center of your minds), because when you’re successful, then so are we (just like when the kids are successful then so are you…you get the picture, they’re both a big deal!). We have a tripod approach to training that includes self-directed learning, on the job mentoring and Head Office training. At Explore you can enjoy real job satisfaction and gain real business skills at the same time.

3. Gain Career Progression!

It goes without saying that Explore has a lively work setting, and as well as benefiting from some outstanding staff training you will also find a well-structured career development plan that will make sure that you have every opportunity to fulfill your career ambitions.

The first step up the ladder is to become a Center Director. When you reach this point you get to take on supporting a team and running a center all of your own, as well as all the extra training, responsibilities and benefits that come with the position. After which so many new opportunities will open up to you. As the company grows the most outstanding Center Directors will go on to become Regional Managers, or take up positions in Head Office across various departments, such as Marketing, Recruitment, Training, Customer Retention, Curriculum Development, Sales, or Human Resources. You can decide where your passions lie and where you’d like to see your career develop.

4. Become an Assistant Director!

You’ll start as part of a three person team; you, another Assistant Director and a Center Director. Between you, you will each take different areas of responsibility as you look to provide an outstanding service and make yourselves a fixture in your local community.

It’s hopefully clear by now, that in this role you will touch the lives of hundreds of children and their parents and have a huge impact on their success in school and beyond. Even more than that though; you are going to gain broad business experience, you will learn to market and sell a brand new concept in education, how to operate a business unit, and be responsible for the recruitment and development of a team of tutors as part of a Management team. We also hope you will embrace the opportunity to personally develop and become a Center Director within 18-24 months, where you will directly supervise staff and have overall responsibility for the Center’s development, operations and profitability. This role is definitely varied, and it can be challenging, but it will always be incredibly rewarding.

So what we are looking for?

To be a great Assistant Director, you will need to be up for the challenge of delivering a great educational service at the same time as growing and developing your learning center using all of your promotional and managerial strengths. If you can say yes to the following statements (and then demonstrate them in your application), you could be just what we’re looking for:
• Passionate about helping children achieve their potential & able to build a strong rapport with anyone.
• Enthusiastic and confident to promote Explore Horizons at any opportunity.
• Professional, articulate and persuasive.
• Willing and able to take responsibility for the success of a center.
• Highly motivated with a bright enthusiastic personality.
