Global Investment Research (GIR) provides investment recommendations by generating fundamental research and analysis of companies, industries, markets and economies. GIR analysts help our clients achieve superior returns through creative and differentiated investment insights and ideas. Our clients include mutual funds, hedge funds and pension funds, amongst others. 

GIR looks for individuals who are intellectually curious, creative and analytical. Research analysts are passionate about the markets and interested in the research process. Analysts also typically possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

The Global Investment Research Summer Program is 10 weeks long. It provides students with the opportunity to gain insight into the division, and the role of a research analyst. We place interns directly into equity, credit, economics, commodities and strategy research teams, where they focus on both project work and the day-to-day tasks of a research team. Summer interns work closely with a senior analyst, associate, and/or financial analyst, gaining exposure to all aspects of the responsibilities of a research analyst.
