The Financial Risk Technology group is at the intersection of risk management across the firm. The work we perform involves leveraging the latest technology to support various risk measures including market, credit, liquidity and operational risk. The commercial impact of the group is broad – we interface with various divisions in our firm, as well as the office of the CFO. Businesses supported by Financial Risk Technology include Credit and Market risk analysts, Trading Desks, Corporate Treasury, Operations, Legal, Controllers among others. Additionally, Financial Risk Technology partners with the business to manage relationships with external regulators.
Solutions developed in Financial Risk Technology include big data, real-time processes and data flows, data warehousing, workflow and large scale distributed compute systems used for quantitative modeling.
Members of Financial Risk Technology work in small teams across all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from direct user interaction to design, test and deployment.
