Position Overview 
The marketing team seeks multiple interns each semester in the areas of film, graphic design, and general marketing communication. Interns are responsible for a number of projects that vary in timeframe, scale, and orientation. The purpose of these projects is not only to help improve ITT’s impact on the community, but also to provide valuable knowledge and experience to the intern’s education and career aspirations. The marketing department seeks interns with strong written and in-person communication skills who can think creatively and harness their specific skills to deepen engagement with current ITT supporters and raise awareness of the cause. 

Key Responsibilities 
• Work directly with and provide support to Community Outreach Manager and the Director of Digital and Social Media 
• Contribute to social media strategy for organizational events, initiatives, and programs 
• *Design specific: support the creation and development of a variety of marketing and communication materials (i.e. newsletters, posters, flyers, t-shirts, web ads, etc…) 
• *Film specific: write, plan, direct, and edit a range of video assets to capture success stories and help the community utilize ITT’s healthy programs and tools 
• Manage WordPress-based blog content 
• Edit and review copy and content 
• Perform market research 

Critical Skills/Abilities 
• Experience utilizing a team-based approach to carry out projects 
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and leverage resources accordingly 
• Active involvement with social media (familiarity with Hootsuite a plus) 
• Experience writing press releases and pitching media 
• Basic web design and editing a plus (HTML, CSS) 
• Familiarity with CMS (Wordpress and Drupal a plus) 
• Familiarity and Access to Adobe Creative Suite a plus 
• Video and photo capturing and editing a plus 
**Writing, social media, film, or design examples may be requested upon receipt of application 

Minimum Requirements 
• Sophomore, Junior or Senior working towards Bachelors’ degree in public relations, advertising, marketing, film, design, or related field 
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
