Position reports to the Manager, International Business Development and works closely with the International Marketing team, Purchasing and Forecasting. The desirable candidate will have meticulous attention to detail; a thorough understanding of, and passion for, delivering exceptional customer service; be a motivated, proactive team player; and be able to work well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

Order Processing 
• Be the international contact for all order and customer service requests from our global network of distributor partners and third-party distribution centers. 
• Receive and process orders from international distributors. 
• Send out all communication related to orders – confirmations, shipment specifications, notifications, 
commercial invoices and other shipping documents as required by market. Notify partners of backorders when necessary. Work closely with US purchasing team to keep markets informed about status of backorders and expected arrival of stock. 
• Work with our warehouses to continually evaluate and improve shipping timelines. 
• Actively evaluate ways to improve order processing to ensure 100% order accuracy and best practices in fulfillment procedures. Facilitate timely and regular communication with our markets about orders and inventory issues. 
• Work with our technical team to implement EDI order capability with the appropriate markets wherever possible. Where EDI capabilities exist, be the point person for monitoring order transmissions and ensuring warehouse is aware of orders. 
• Request shipping quotes and schedule shipments when needed on behalf of our distributors. 
Work closely with our UK warehouse to manage their inventory and reconcile to our inventory system on a monthly basis, ensuring all sales orders are accounted for. 
• Work with the accounting team to invoice markets after orders ship. As required, follow-up on any past due issues with distributer partners. 
• Review and approve storage and shipping invoices from the UK warehouse, based on order and shipment log. Send to accounting team for payment. Work with UK warehouse to determine any credits that may be necessary. 
• Receive customer service requests and send to the appropriate international partner for follow up. 
• In collaboration with the marketing team, develop a detailed understanding of pricing strategies for each market and update our system as needed. 

Forecast and Inventory Management 

• Request and compile forecasts from our international partners and manage the master international forecast and replenishment schedule for the US, Canadian and EU warehouses. 
• Actively monitor past sales trends, plus knowledge of international distributors and planned marketing programs, to project future usage and ensure accuracy of international forecasts. 
• Review and update the international forecast each month to accommodate new launches and updated marketing plans. 
• Analyze international sku sales of retail and sampler items by distributor and determine optimal inventory levels at US, Canada and EU warehouses. 
• Collaborate closely with the US inventory analyst to coordinate & schedule international production runs with US production runs when appropriate. 
• Each month, reconcile consignment inventory sold through the Canadian warehouse and ensure that it is cycled out of Jack Black’s inventory system and that the invoices are accurate. 
• Request and review physical inventory counts at our international warehouses two times per year and reconcile to Jack Black’s inventory system. 
• Upon receipt of new inventory, work with the UK warehouse to review stock and ensure it is in good, sellable condition. Work with them to destroy unsellable stock when necessary. 
• Create a schedule of replenishment shipments for the UK warehouse and work with our US warehouse team to ship them out on time. 
• Work with UK warehouse and accounting team prior to delivery of replenishment shipments to ensure issuing of payments so that stock clears customs and arrives in a timely manner. 
• Build a detailed knowledge of US and international product lines, and differences between sku mix for various markets. 

Reporting and Analysis 

• Create and manage monthly summary report showing international sku performance, including 6 month and 12 month trends and average monthly unit movement by sku and review with the international marketing team each month. 
• Revalue COGs in Jack Black inventory system upon receipt of shipments at international warehouses. 
• Keep a log of distributor orders and send out a summary report at the end of each month. 
• Create detailed schedule of invoices in order to file monthly EC Sales List and UK VAT returns each quarter. 
• Actively seek out and evaluate opportunities for improving forecasting and inventory management systems. 

Desired Skills and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, international business, or other related area of study preferred 
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Spreadsheet applications) 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Enthusiasm for international markets 
• Strong understanding of budgets and product costing 
• Ability to proactively analyze and evaluate complex data 
• Ability to work independently and as a core member of the team 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once, with strong attention to detail
