We are looking for a talented individual to fill our Legal Assistant position within the Chairman of the Board (COB) department. The COB department supports the chairman and co-founder of Keller Williams who also happens to be the author of the bestselling business book, The One Thing. What will you do? 
The Legal Assistant will be an integral part of the COB team and will assist with the review and preparation of legal and corporate documents, entity formation, research, and general administrative duties and projects as assigned. The candidate should have a strong focus on organization, attention to detail, timeliness, proof reading, and the ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment. 

Here are some of the things you’ll do with additional job responsibilities as you learn and grow: 

• Assist with review and preparation of legal documents, including business contracts and documents related to real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and management 
• Track and manage status of transactions and assist with due diligence activities 
• Assist with Board presentations, minutes, resolutions and other corporate documents and reports 
• Assist with entity formation and organization and related documents and activities 
• Organize, maintain and update entity files 
• Perform research as needed 
• Coordinate, assist with, and attend meetings for various projects 
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with outside legal advisors 
• Calendar and monitor deadlines 
• Review and route mail and phone calls 
• Other administrative duties/projects as assigned 

• This is an entry level position 
• Motivated, flexible, productive, and takes initiative 
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain and protect confidential information 
• Outstanding organizational skills 
• Capacity to envision end result of a project and plan accordingly 
• Excellent proof reading skills 
• Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
