Product Management Development Program 

This analytical development program will provide employees with an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience within Personal Insurance at a Fortune 100 company. You will gain an overall understanding of the insurance industry through interactions with many of the functional areas within Personal Insurance including Sales, Service, Claims, Actuarial, and Pricing. We’ll start you with a formal 10-week training program in analysis, underwriting principles, product, and Liberty Mutual Insurance systems. You will then rotate through the Product Management department and provide analytical insights on Personal Insurance products such as auto, property, and specialty insurance. Your work will be relied upon to improve profitability, increase growth, and reduce expenses. The program offers a well-developed career path; successful candidates start as a Product Associate, become a Product Analyst in as little as 2 years, and then go on to become leaders within the product organization, often times managing others. This position is based in Boston, MA and Seattle, WA. 

• Participate in our training program to learn about the industry, the company, and Product Management to establish a strong foundation to be better positioned for long term career success 
• Gather data from various business sources to identify opportunity areas 
• Analyze data using quantitative techniques to make actionable recommendations 
• Present actionable recommendations and underlying reasoning to project manager and senior management 
• Work on projects of increasing responsibility, both individually and as part of a team, to build experience and skills at a pace matched to your demonstrated ability 

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA. Additional requirements might apply
• Must have permanent work authorization in the United States 
• Economics, Finance, Business, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or related major 
• 0-2 years of professional experience 
• Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and organizational skills 
• Quantitative and analytical ability 
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities 
• Experience with technical programs such as SAS and advanced Excel preferred
