Fri, August 29, 2014 | FAC 18

12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

We’ve spent a lot of time with candidates—from undergraduates to MBAs, doctors, scientists, and lawyers—and they describe what they want in their ideal job and career in similar ways:

    • to work with smart, interesting people with diverse backgrounds to solve the biggest challenges across private, public and social sectors

    • a community of people they enjoy and teams that work well together

    • meaningful work where their skills have impact and make a difference in the world

    • to constantly learn and grow and to view the world as their classroom

Taken together, this describes a career at McKinsey.

Analysts play an active role in many aspects of a project, including fact gathering, analysis, client communications, making recommendations, and implementation. You collaborate with senior consultants, client managers, and senior executives on every part of the consulting process, from brainstorming ideas to working side-by-side with clients to implement team recommendations.

NOTE:  If you are pursuing a masters degree and you earned an undergraduate degree fewer than 4 years ago, you will be considered for a business analyst position; if you earned your undergraduate degree more than 4 years ago, you will be considered for an associate position.
