Media Research Labs, LLC (d.b.a. MediaScience) (www.mediasciencelabs.com) conducts research for large cable and television networks and investigates a variety of media-related research questions for clients such as ESPN, Facebook, Apple, etc. We apply the rigor of experimental research to the evaluation of various media and advertising platforms using a variety of research tools and methods including psychophysiology, eye tracking, facial coding, reaction time, survey and more. 

Media Research Labs, LLC employs Research Assistants to serve as the "gatekeeper" between our research panel and the company. The Research Assistant is the "face" of the company and must present the appropriate Media Panel image to participants while being courteous, understanding, professional, and most importantly, maintaining scientific rigor to experimental procedures. 

Research Assistants must possess, at a minimum, the following qualities: 
• A solid understanding of experimental procedures 
• Meticulous attention to detail 
• Professional demeanor 
• Positive attitude 
• High level of teamwork 
• Proper level of regard to participant experience in lab 
• Friendly phone personality 
• Ability to be thorough with even small tasks 
• Willingness to learn 

Daily Duties 
There are a number of required duties to be carried out each day by Research Assistants. These include, but are not limited to, being reliable about coming to work on time for opening procedures, closing procedures, participant scheduling, answering phone calls, data coding & data entry, and, most importantly, running participants through studies and collecting data. Duties may also include document scanning, document shredding, lab maintenance, equipment maintenance, and more. 

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, typically in 8-hour shifts. The lab is open 7 days per week, from 8:30AM to 9:00PM, so shifts will rotate through days/evenings and weekdays/weekends - flexibility is a must.
