| An opportunity for an aspiring student journalist or writer to gain experience by writing articles for Hyde Park’s monthly publication. Intern works under the guidance of the editor and is responsible for 6 to 9 articles over the course of a year. Articles can cover a range of topics pertinent to the neighborhood: student experience and issues, neighborhood community events, city government actions that affect the neighborhood, balanced reports on controversial issues among neighbors. Intern will work under the guidance of the editor. Candidate should be familiar with Hyde Park or be willing to become so. |
