Rocky Mountain National Park offers a variety of internships every year which provide opportunities for experience in several different areas of park operations. Current listings: 

West Side Environmental Education Intern 

Rocky Mountain National Park seeks college students or recent graduates of exceptional ability with a 
background in natural science, history, communication, education, recreation and resource management or 
related fields. Candidates should have excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to 
present formal presentations or tours. Flexibility, reliability, and willingness to learn are also desired. 

Duties include: presenting curriculum-driven EE programs in classrooms and on-site in the park, working with 
children, researching, preparing and presenting interpretive natural and cultural history programs to a variety 
of diverse audiences, answering questions at park visitor centers and communicating current park issues in a 
professional manner to the public. Additional duties include working as a team with park volunteer, seasonal, 
and permanent staff. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to work on uneven terrain about 
8,500 feet. 

August 23- November 30, 2015 
Commitment is forty hours/week, including weekends and holidays. 
Stipend of $225/week plus housing.
