WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION? 
• Interacts with product segments to provide compliance support on products and services 
• Provides training and education on compliance topics as necessary 
• Completes scheduled and ad hoc reports for Bank management on compliance issues 
• Participates in tracking consumer complaints and agent performance issues 
WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION? 
• Develops broad-based knowledge of banking with a focus on assigned business lines 
• Participates in project groups and committees 
• Establishes business relationships with various Bank product lines, service areas, and vendors 
• Develops an understanding of the federal regulatory environment applicable to the Bank 
• Communicates with enterprise compliance contacts 
• Proposes updates and revisions to Bank compliance policies and procedures. 
• Researches product/service compliance assessments 
• Reviews Bank-related marketing, advertising, and communication pieces.

• May work irregular hours based on workload and job requirements 
• May require travel via commercial transportation and/or driving motor vehicles to various State Farm business locations, seminars, conferences, and/or industry meetings 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 
State Farm Bank is looking for an experienced compliance professional to join the Bank Compliance Initiatives Team. This role will provide compliance oversight and support of new system projects having Bank impacts. This is a lead role and requires collaboration with internal Bank compliance team members, Bank product areas, Bank operations centers and Systems project team members. The selected individual will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of Bank products, Bank operations and risk requirements as well as Enterprise project methodology. 

Responsibilities will include: 
Identifying compliance risks throughout the project lifecycle 
Providing analysis of compliance risks & proposing solutions 
Identifying & delivering compliance requirements to project leads 
Identifying & escalating high risk compliance issues to management 
Providing review of project documentation within stated timelines 
Providing follow-up with project team with compliance guidance/direction regarding high risk items 
Ensuring that all work product is properly archived 
Working closely with embedded Compliance team members and other internal partners 
Attending project meetings as assigned 

The ideal candidate will have: 
A minimum of 3+ years consumer compliance experience. 
Knowledge of banking and strong technical skills to perform the responsibilities of the position.  
Proven ability to analyze data, identify compliance risks, and provide appropriate mitigating controls. 
Strong relationship building and collaboration skills. 
Ability to work effectively within a variety of situations and with various individuals. 
Detail-oriented skills and possess a high respect for accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines.  
Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred. 
Ability to effectively analyze complex situations. In addition, the candidate should proactively identify problems and act appropriately to resolve problems. 
Flexibility and able to work effectively in a project team environment. 
Certified Regulatory Compliance Management (CRCM) designation is preferred. 

This position can be located at the Corporate South facility in Bloomington, IL or at the Corporate Woods facility in Earth City, MO. 

Note: Entry into a State Farm Bank position may require passing additional background checks, including a credit check.
