WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION? 
• Collaborates with business partners to communicate and validate the adoption of process changes. 
• Contributes to the development, implementation, and embedding of Excellence in Operations Management (EOM) principles into department or business area. 
• Participates in process improvement initiatives utilizing project management techniques and process improvement methodologies 
WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION? 
• Applies in-depth knowledge of process improvement methodologies and EOM principles to drive business results 
• Leads a segment of EOM assessment, deep dive/design, and pilot activities for functions new to EOM 
• Sets direction for portions of process improvement/redesign projects 
• Participates in the development, maintenance, and consistent application of standard processes across area of responsibility 
• Utilizes appropriate methods and tools to perform data collection and analysis. 
• Leads high impact and/or complex projects 
• Communicates results of research and analysis for complex business issues 
• Recommends viable solutions and alternatives 
• Uses independent discretion and judgment to modify methodology when necessary 
• Solves project problems and issues* Gathers, classifies, and analyzes data relevant to operational metrics and processes 
• Provides coaching and training to develop and sustain EOM principles 
• Participates in the assessment, deep dive/design, and pilot activities for functions new to EOMM 
• Serves as team member on process improvement/redesign projects 
• Evaluates process adherence and consistency 
• Seeks guidance on complex challenges 
• Participates in problem resolution 
ITEMS OF NOTE 
• Position may require travel via commercial transportation and driving motor vehicles to any location where the Company does business 
• May work extended hours and weekends 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 
State Farm Banks Process Design & Consulting group is looking for Process Analysts in Bloomington. 

The desired candidate(s) will have a very strong work ethic and will be self-motivated and passionate. The selected candidate will work with the PD&C team to better the Banks processes in a very fast paced and demanding environment. Previous process design experience is preferred but not required. Bachelors degree preferred. 

Travel approximately 26-50% of the time is an expectation of this role. Travel is dictated by current work assignments and could be a few days a week or it could be for multiple months in a row. Air or ground travel to multiple locations is typical and is dictated by work assignments, which are determined by management.
