Strive Logistics is looking for enthusiastic Customer Sales Representatives for our Austin and Chicago offices. If you are motivated, competitive, eager to get on the phone, savvy, ready to learn and ready to earn, you’ll master the art of selling, and help contribute to a growing team. 

Customer Sales is responsible for selling Strive Logistics transportation services to current and prospective customers. A customer can be anyone that is looking to move product near or far. You are a professional: a networker, a listener, and a negotiator. You are the face of Strive to the customer. 

The Customer Sales training will teach you everything you need to know about Strive, the industry, and our proprietary technology, LoadRunner. During the training, you will experience the Carrier Sales, Customer Sales, and Customer Operations teams. 

Responsibilities: 
Grow revenue and margin by selling Strive Logistics transportation services to current and prospective customers 
Meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales expectations including revenue, growth margin, and targets 
Research companies and network internally and externally to identify new prospects 
Identify decision makers with targeted leads and initiate the sales process 
Cold-call prospects that are generated through external or internal lead sources 
Penetrate all targeted accounts and build relationships 
Collaborate with team members to develop and execute sales strategy for each prospect and current account 
Ensure follow-up by documenting and managing calls-to-action, deadlines, and on-going customer interaction throughout the sales process 
Assist with the coordination of client presentation materials including Power-point presentations and marketing materials 
Responsible for pipeline management via Loadrunner: Ensure all client and deal data is up-to-date, all client interactions are documented, and pipeline stages are correct 
Actively overcome objections, negotiating and closing deals which generate new revenue and margin 
Coordinate pricing with internal teams to best satisfy customer needs 
Support marketing efforts such as trade-shows, exhibits and events 
Assist in collection efforts as needed 
Remain informed on industry trends, Strive service offerings, and competitor activities 
Continue learning and perfecting the sales craft through self-development and active participation in all required training and development needs
