Purpose:
The primary objective of Fan Services is to assist all patrons, particularly those who may be mobility, visually, or hearing impaired while visiting our facilities on game days throughout the year. The purpose of this position is to professionally and effectively carry out the goals of the Fan Services program. We pride ourselves on being hardworking while maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Essential Functions:
Fan Services has two essential functions for football, volleyball, baseball and softball: running a golf cart shuttle service and manning information centers throughout the facilities. Prior to and following each event, Fan Services students drive a number of golf carts to pick up patrons who may need assistance getting from their vehicles to the facility, and visa versa. During each event, Fan Services students are stationed around and inside the facility at information centers in order to answer any questions patrons may have about the event or the facility. All first year Fan Services students will be required to 5 of the 6 home football games.

At track and field events, Fan Services students’ responsibilities vary throughout the course of the day. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: tracking scores of participants on PDA devices, assisting in production trucks, setting up and breaking down events, and assisting patrons at designated information tables.

Fan Services students will be tour guides in the UT Athletics Stadium Tour program. We offer both public and private group tours. During these tours, we calk about one mile on various routes throughout the stadium. Training is provided.

Marginal/Incidental functions:
Other related functions as assigned.

Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.

Working conditions:
May work in all weather conditions. Climbing of stairs. Lifting and moving event related items or objects of up 30 pounds. Standing, walking and being on your feet for extended periods of time is required.

Work days and times:
Schedules vary and we are flexible to fit yours. Includes nights, weekends and holidays.
