Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission, THGC Diversity Internship, Application Deadline, BTT Gateway Job ID 11277

The selected interns will work closely with Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission (THGC) staff on a variety of efforts, which may include educational and web resource development, program management work, and preparation of materials for and participation in a THGC quarterly meeting. The selected intern will receive a $2,500 stipend for four-week internships (40-hour week). The interns will work under the supervision of the THGC at its location in Austin. A final progress report and article will be required at the conclusion of the student’s internship. 

Interested students should have knowledge of, or willingness and interest to learn about, the Holocaust and other genocides. He or she should be a highly organized, self-starting individual who is a goal setter, problem-solver, and critical thinker. Experience with research, project management, communications, web design, and/or education is preferred and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
