The Big Picture: 
The Boon Group is seeking an energetic intern with an accounting/business background to join the accounting team. This person will be responsible for providing support for special projects within the Accounting department. The Accounting Intern will have the opportunity to assist in various team projects, work on real time financial statements, participate in budgeting and support the year end audits and close process. This person will work under direct supervision and will be provided mentorship by the Director of Finance and the Vice President of Finance. 

The Day to Day 
 Assist in various team or special projects 
 Assist with financial statement preparation 
 Assist with budgeting 
 Assist with the annual audit and year end close 
 Performs other duties as assigned

 Ability to be detail-oriented 
 Ability to meet established deadlines 
 Ability to handle multiple projects 
 Intermediate computer skills needed with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet 
 Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy 
 Great communication skills (both oral and written) 
 Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new things 
 Strong Excel skills 

Required Education & Experience 
 Current college student (must be a junior or above in Accounting or Finance) 
 1 year of general office experience
