TRIBEZA magazine is looking for a few creative and qualified interns to assist our editorial team this fall. We’re looking for undergraduate or graduate students who are self-starters with excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of what drives both print and digital content at TRIBEZA. Savvy social media skills, deep creativity and a finger on the pulse of Austin’s booming arts and culture scene are a must. This is an unpaid opportunity, but we are happy to provide course credit. 

-Help manage social media platforms 
-Conduct interviews and write stories for possible publication in print 
-Assist with planning and executing TRIBEZA events, including TRIBEZA Style Week 
-Assist with other various administrative tasks (data entry, website updates) 
-Compile events and produce content for weekly newsletter 
-Assist with compiling events for the Arts and Entertainment Calendars 

-Candidate must be able to commit to 10-15 hours a week for the entire fall semester, including some evening/weekend availability for TRIBEZA events 
-Must be detailed-oriented and a master multi-tasker with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision 
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and social media (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) 
-Excellent writing skills and understanding of AP style and journalistic ethics 
-Personal laptop 
-Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment 
-Strong computer, communication, and organization skills
