An additional 9 hours of upper division linguistics courses of your choosing.
In general, the minor requirement for the 12-14 and 14-16 catalogs consists of 12 hours in another field, 6 of the hours upper division and 6 in residence. Students may also use a complete lower division language sequence for their minor if they declare a minor in a language other than that used for their Liberal Arts language requirement. The minor must include 12 hours, 6 of those in residence.
