Airports, Airport Shuttles and Car Rentals
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) is a mid-sized airport served by major US airlines with nonstop service from 36 cities coast to coast. Austin is a focus city for Southwest Airlines and JetBlue Airways.
Super Shuttle provides service from ABIA to major destinations throughout Austin and the surrounding counties. Reservations can be made online or (800) BLUE-VAN.
The following national agencies have car rental facilities at the Austin Airport, however, due to difficuties in parking on and near the University campus, we do not recommend driving yourself. The campus area is within walking distance of much of downtown Austin, and is also well-served by the Capital Metro bus system, which also operates a series of free University shuttles around campus and to various neighborhoods around town.
