Saturday April 25, 2015

College of Liberal Arts - Glickman Conference Center (1.302E)

Join us for a one day workshop where you will learn about the diverse cultures of the Middle East, gain an understanding of the business environment, and network with peers from UT and other local universities with similar interests. Now in its fourth year, the goal of the GPT seeks to reach undergraduate and graduate students who have an interest in the Middle East, want to understand how to better serve Middle Eastern clients, customers, employees, and/or who are interested in living or seeking employment in the Middle East.  As in previous years, we anticipate admitting approximately 50 students to the GPT this year, and are extending invitations to students from nearby universities including Huston-Tilotson University, St. Edwards University, Austin Community College, and Texas State University to participate as well.

How much does it cost?

A $50 charge will be posted to your account, and removed upon completion of the workshop.  If you attend, you will not be charged.

Who can participate?

Undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in the Middle East who are currently enrolled in a college/university in Austin and surrounding areas.  Students will be required to show their student ID when they check-in to the workshop.

How can I sign up?

Application deadline is April 16, 2015.  Apply online HERE.
