Undergraduate Academic Year FLAS

Financial Support

Undergraduate students awarded an Academic Year FLAS are given a nine-month stipend of $5,000 (paid monthly September-May), plus resident tuition for up to $10,000 per academic year. Any remaining balance is the responsibility of the student.
Funding for the 2022-2023 Academic Year Fellowships is dependent upon the Center for Middle Eastern Studies being awarded funding from the Federal Government for the 2022-2026 grant cycle. Please note that we may not find out whether we will receive FLAS funding until after the application deadline, but we encourage students to apply and will notify applicants as soon as we know.
