Karen Grumberg appointed the International Conference Coordinator of the National Association for Professors of Hebrew

Karen Grumberg has been appointed the International Conference Coordinator of the National Association for Professors of Hebrew, the professional organization that supports the academic study of Hebrew culture from the biblical era to contemporary times. This position involves organizing an annual 3-day International Conference on Hebrew Language, Literature, and Culture that brings together scholars from around the world. Together with Esther Raizen, currently the Executive Vice President of NAPH, Prof. Grumberg is helping increase UT Austin’s visibility as a hub for the study of Hebrew language and literature.
Esther Raizen, Associate Professor and Senior Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies is the Executive Vice President of NAPH.
