State of Black UT 2021

During a time in our country when race and racial injustices are top of mind for many people and organizations, the Black Studies Collective finds it imperative to engage the Longhorn community in collective conversations that lead to fostering a more open and supportive campus for the UT Black community. State of Black UT is a three-day event that will facilitate discussions and exploration of the work UT has done, is doing, and needs to do to create an inclusive campus. State of Black UT will centralize discussion and unify efforts being made to foster a supportive learning, teaching and working environment for the Black UT community.
