Tutoring in the Portuguese Flagship Program

All PFP scholars recieve extra support through tutoring:

Tutoring is a critical component of the Portuguese Flagship Program that provides students with extra practice and focused, individualized attention as they progress through the program and work to meet proficiency goals.

PFP Scholars are required to attend 1-hour weekly tutoring sessions, which are held in the PFP room in Benedict Hall (4.122).

Tutors work with PFP scholars on the following activities:

  • Free Speech and Oral Conversation
  • Homework Review
  • Vocabulary
  • Grammar Review
  • Any subject of particular interest expressed by the student
