PRC Sponsored Event: Cheryl Rollman-Tinajero Presents
Welcome to Cheryl Rollman-Tinajero.

Cheryl Rollman-Tinajero, from the U.S. Census Bureau and the UT Austin Restricted Data Center, presents "RDC: What it Means to Me" February 6 in CLA 1.302D from 12:00-1:00.

A new research tool is available to UT students! Restricted data, made available through a partnership between federal agencies and non-profit research institutions are available for use now at UT Austin.

The newly constructed Restricted Data Center provides researchers with access to both demographic survey data that has more detail than is publicly available and business data that has no publicly available equivalent. The RDC is a part of a network that is a vital resource for research in the fields of economics, demography, statistics, sociology and health services.

The RDC invites interested researchers to attend a brown bag session to learn more about:
(1) the restricted data resources available for RDC-based research, (2) programs and services available at the UT RDC, (3) the steps involved in gaining approval for projects using restricted data, (4) how gaining access now will help with dissertation progress, publications and tenure.
