PRC Alum Jennifer Karas Montez Wins Andrew Carnegie Fellowship
Congratulations to Jennifer Karas Montez!

PRC alum Jennifer Karas Montez has won a 2018 Andrew Carnegie Fellowship. Her research examines the large and growing inequalities in adult mortality across education levels and geographic areas within the United States. She is particularly interested in why the growing inequalities have been most troublesome among women.

The Andrew Carnegie Fellowship is awarded to high-caliber scholarship that applies fresh perspectives to some of the most pressing issues of our times, shows potential for meaningful impact on a field of study, and has the capacity for dissemination to a broad audience.
