Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and Plan II Honors alumnus Robert Schenkkan will discuss his works at an event hosted by the Plan II Honors Program.

Schenkkan, who won the 1992 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play "The Kentucky Cycle," will discuss scenes he wrote for the HBO miniseries "The Pacific," which received two Emmy Award nominations. Actors from the university's drama department will read a scene from his new play "Docent." Schenkkan will also discuss the differences between writing for the stage and writing for the screen.

The event is part of the Plan II Honors Program's 75th anniversary celebration. Admission is free.
