Visiting Scholar Eugene Garver will be presenting "Aristotle's Rhetoric in 5,000 Words." He is currently the Regents' Professor of Philosophy at St. John's University and is the author of Aristotle's Rhetoric: An Act of Character, Confronting Aristotle's Ethics: Ancient and Modern Morality, Aristotle's Politics: Living Well and Living Together, and other works.

The lecture will be held Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the Texas Union Sinclair Suite, room 3.128. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
