The Religious Studies Department is sponsoring a religion and film event at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar on Monday March 7th — 6pm to 9:30pm. The event will feature Elijah Siegler (Professor of Religious Studies, College of Charleston), who is editor of the forthcoming Coen: Framing Religion in Amoral Order (Baylor University Press). He will give a brief talk about religion and the Coen Bros, and we will screen the latest Coen film, Hail, Caesar!
Tickets are $10 and you can buy them here. Food and drinks, along with copies of the book, will be available for purchase. There are a limited number of seats, so be sure to buy tickets early. The event is open to the Austin community.
