David Lambert is a Visiting Assistant Professor in Religious Studies and the Institute for Jewish Studies at Emory University. He received his PhD in 2004 from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilization, and wrote his dissertation, entitled "Topics in the History of Repentance: From the Hebrew Bible to Early Judaism and Christianity" under the direction of Professor James Kugel.
