Christian Raymond, Education Director at the Austin Film Society, will discuss the project and screen some short films made by disadvantaged Transylvanian teenagers. 

In June, 2009, Raymond traveled to small villages and towns in Transylvania to conduct an intensive collaborative film project workshop over a three week period. Raymond is a writer and educator whose adventures in filmmaking range from writing screenplays for Walt Disney and Touchstone Pictures to producing educational films which have been distributed and screened around the globe. He develops film and digital media programs, teaches in school and community settings, and is the editor of the journal PERSISTENCE OF VISION, the journal of the Austin Film Society.
