In order to describe interlanguage development of advanced Russian learners that occurs within a semester of their stay abroad we chose to analyze performances of seven Russian Overseas Flagship students on two tests. This talk is concerned with preliminary analysis of test data (The Test of Russian as a Foreign Language and Oral Proficiency Interview) and comparative review of two testing systems.
