COLA Social Justice in Poland Scholarship

COLA: Social Justice in Poland Scholarship — All Maymester participants (see below) qualify!

 Scholarships of $1,000-2,500 in Global Assist
 Funded by the Rapoport International Endowment in the College of Liberal Arts and students receiving the scholarship will be required to write a thank you letter to the endowment representative.
 Distributions are to support need-based undergraduate scholarships, with emphasis on supporting participation in study and research abroad opportunities. As such, applicants will be asked to explain circumstances warranting financial need.

 

Security and Society Summer School

This online course presents two of the most popular features of the Security and Society Summer School, hosted by Collegium Civitas (Warsaw, Poland). This year, the program will be presented as a two-week intensive course with an optional four-week research internship with the Terrorism Research Center.

This course offers a broad overview of the modern security challenges faced by the countries of Central Europe and more broadly by NATO and the European Union. This year we will focus on the regional and global implications of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. War, international law relating to war, as well as peacebuilding are topics that will be covered. Other topics will include hybrid threats, cybersecurity, and terrorism.
