Sociology Graduate Students to Present at IUSSP Conference in South Korea

This August six Sociology graduate students will present their research in Busan, South Korea, in the 2013 International Union for the Scientific Study of Population Conference. The students are:

Chi-Tsun Chiu - "Health transition before and after 1995 health reform in Taiwan"
Caitlin Hamrock - "Race Inequality in Education and Earnings in Brazil and South Africa"
David McClendon - "Miscarriage, Childlessness, and the Risk of Union Dissolution among Married and Cohabiting Young-Adult Couples in the United States"
Yuka Minagawa - "Differentials in Quality of Life across Eastern Europe: Evidence Based on Healthy Life Expectancy"
Nicholas Reith - "Tunisia's Jasmine Revolution: A Spatial Demographic Analysis of Protest, Violence, and Voting Patterns"
Isaac Sasson - "Land Degradation and Fertility in sub-Saharan West Africa: Disaggregating the Demographic Response"
