David Unger is a Guatemalan-U.S. novelist, poet, and translator who is also active in the publishing world. He won the 2014 Premio Nacional de Literatura Miguel Angel Asturias, the highest award for a Guatemalan writer. He is the international Representative for the Guadalajara International Book Fair and teaches at the City College of New York.
