Dr. Ghazi Abukhema of the College of Charleston, will describe language teaching materials that utilize ACTFL standards and a proficiency-based framework to guide students to achieve different types of proficiencies. Dr. Abukhema will be using Arabic as an example; however, the essence of this type of language teaching can be used in all languages. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is either learning or teaching any foreign language.
