Sarah Baum, Project Manager, Ibis Reproductive Health - Investigator

Sarah Baum holds a Master of Public Health degree in reproductive health from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health. Her work focuses on abortion access in restrictive settings. She coordinates qualitative and quantitative data collection for the abortion-related studies of the project. This includes surveys of women seeking abortion services; interviews with clinic staff, abortion providers and funders; and tracking wait times at abortion clinics throughout the state.

At Ibis Reproductive Health, she currently manages research projects in the US and Latin America to expand access to safe abortion and reproductive health care. Prior to joining Ibis, she conducted research to evaluate teenage pregnancy prevention programs and worked as an abortion counselor.

Sarah works at the Ibis Reproductive Health office in Oakland, California. When not in the office, she can be found cycling around the Bay Area or heading out to one of the state’s national parks.
