Supreme Court Vacates Fifth Circuit Stay

The U.S. Supreme Court vacated the Fifth Circuit's stay on the House Bill 2 (HB2) ambulatory surgical center and hospital admitting privileges requirements, effective October 15th, 2014. This ruling, which came out on the evening of October 14th, has allowed the abortion clinics in Texas closed by the Fifth Circuit ruling to reopen.
