TxPEP Publishes "The Public Health Threat of Anti-abortion Legislation"

Daniel Grossman, Kari White, Kristine Hopkins, and Joseph Potter published "The Public Health Threat of Anti-abortion Legislation" in the February issue of Contraception that describes the provisions of HB 2, the omnibus bill passed in July 2013 that placed several restrictions on the provision of abortion services in Texas.  The TxPEP researchers then discuss the effects that HB 2 will have on the health of Texas women, particularly low-income and young women who lack the resources to travel to clinics in a distant city or out of state, and the potential rise of abortion self-induction.
