TxPEP Researchers Testify on HB 747, Emergency Contraception Provision to Sexual Assault Survivors
TxPEP testifies today.

TxPEP researcher Kathleen Broussard is testifying today on behalf of TxPEP investigator Kristine Hopkins and on behalf of herself in a State Affairs Committee hearing on HB 747, a bill concerning the provision of information and other services relating to emergency contraception for sexual assault survivors.

Hopkins' testimony provides background on emergency contraception in the special population of sexual assault survivors, and Broussard's testimony details her personal experience as a U.S. Army Victim Advocate for sexual assault survivors.
