Arabic Flagship Program

The AFP actively recruits undergraduate students who choose Arabic as an integral skill for their future careers and who are committed to reaching superior proficiency in Arabic.

A typical AFP applicant has already completed at least one semester of Arabic study and maintains a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and academic majors, but they share a commitment to the study of Arabic and a talent for learning languages. After completing the program, our students plan to work in government, international business, academia, law, journalism, international development, and many other global professions.
