Late Add Requests?
We are no longer accepting late adds into the following lower-division courses: ANT 301, 302, 304, 305, 307.
If you are looking to add an "open" upper-division ANT course: You must ask for instructor permission via email and forward their written approval (with your EID as well as the course unique number) to krista.zampacorta@austin.utexas.edu before 3pm on January 23.
If you are looking to add an "open" ANT 310D/AFR 303 course: You must ask for instructor permission via email and forward their written approval (with your EID as well as the course unique number) to lucy.velez@austin.utexas.edu before 3pm on January 29.

Academic Advising
The undergraduate advisor provides one-on-one advising regarding degree progress and planning, course registration issues, academic and career goals, university policies and procedures, campus resources, and any other academic issues that may arise.
Students who wish to declare a major in Anthropology must schedule an appointment with the advisor. All Anthropology majors are encouraged to meet regularly with the advisor.

- No Show/Cancellation Policy
Students should make every effort to attend their scheduled appointment.
Students who are more than 10 minutes late for a 30-minute appointment may be marked as a no show and asked to reschedule.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least one hour prior to the appointment's scheduled start time.

For Zoom appointments, students must use their UT Austin EID to access the meeting. When logging into Zoom, select SSO and use "utexas" as the Company Domain. This will prompt you to enter your UT EID and password. For more information on using Zoom, see this page. Students who continue to encounter difficulty using Zoom should contact ITS.
