State Tuition Reimbursement Program
Note: You must pay up front and will be reimbursed at the end of semester after submitting transcripts showing you've maintained at least a 2.0 GPA. You must submit transcripts immediately after the semester is completed!

- Subject title of email must state: "[Your Full Name]; FALL 2013 (or current semester); STRP" with attachments from checklist:
- Completed Application
- Completed and signed School Notification & Financial Aid Release Form
- Degree Plan
- Itemized invoice including charges for tuition, fees & other financial aid amounts received

- Financial Aid awards such as Pell Grant/FAFSA and GI Bill CH 33 (when applicable). Army National Guard Soldiers are to submit FTA Vouchers (if applicable).

Montgomery GI Bill
The Montgomery GI Bill program (MGIB) provides up to 36 months of education benefits. This benefit may be used for degree and certificate programs, flight training, apprenticeship/on-the-job training and correspondence courses. Remedial, deficiency, and refresher courses may be approved under certain circumstances.

Hazlewood Act
The Hazlewood Act is a State of Texas benefit that provides qualified Veterans, spouses, and dependent children with an education benefit of up to 150 hours of tuition exemption, including most fee charges, at public institutions of higher education in Texas.
