Texas Army Athletes

Are you an Athlete on Campus? Are you still looking for ways to become a better leader, and improve skills? Our program offers collegiate student-athletes the opportunity to develop skills that can serve them well on the athletic field, the business world and in the military.

While our program is designed to train college students to become military officers after graduation, we place a heavy emphasis on leadership development. You will find that ROTC provides you the ability to balance college and your athletic schedule. Consider joining us for at least a semester of ROTC training, where you'll find:

• A physical training program that is designed for functional fitness

• Field training exercises that provide unique experiences and different leadership challenges, including land navigation, confidence and obstacle courses, and survival training

• Opportunities to attend military schools in the summer (once contracted) such as Airborne, Air Assault, Mountain Warfare, Northern Warfare, Cadet Initial Entry Training, Cadet Leadership Course.

Trying our program does not obligate you to join the military after school. Whatever route you take, ROTC is a valuable program for building the intangible mental qualities that characterize world-class LEADERS!
